DescriptionSpecificationThese smooth planed picket gates are made to match our high quality smooth planed picket fence panels, which bring an attractive contemporary bearing to this traditional method of defining the borders and boundaries of your property. Manufactured using pressure treated timber, they have a guaranteed lifespan of 10-15 years with minimum maintenance (depending on usage). Stainless steel nails are used, and we offer galvanised gate fittings which not only last as long as the pressure treated timber but will also guard against the unsightly discolouration and streaking which is common after a few years.The smooth planed posts are ideal product to pair this with. We recommend purchasing posts that will allow at least 1' to go into the ground, or more if they are likely to be buffeted by strong winds. These should be fixed using postmix or metal post spikes. Individual picket pales to cover the joins can also be purchased here.The smooth planed picket panel and gate are available at 3' or 4' high and have 3" wide picket pales.
